The Asia Symposium on Net-Zero Engineering and Technologies aims to ​convene students, faculty, researchers, as well as industry and government ​representatives from within Asia to discuss approaches for integrating ​renewable energy and green chemistry across multiple scales.


Invited speakers will share their expertise on catalyst development, process ​engineering, and environmental impact studies aimed at carbon reduction ​toward net-zero.

The Poster Competition is open to both the undergraduate and graduate ​categories. We are accepting abstracts of an original scientific paper or ​conceptual process design in the following areas:

  • Green Chemistry and Technology
  • Carbon Capture, Utilization, Storage, and Recovery.

Interested participants can register online through this Google Forms link. ​Corresponding authors/presenters joining the poster competition must select ​“Poster Presenter” in the “Role for Symposium” field. Co-authors of the ​poster competition must select “Attendees (Poster Co-author).”

Located inside the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus, Juinio Hall is the home ​of the UP National Engineering Center, the research and extension arm of the UP College ​of Engineering. The venue is easily accessed via public transport and ride hailing apps. ​And for those bringing in their own vehicles, there are ample parking spots around the ​venue. With an open center building design and surrounded by lush greeneries, this is a ​great venue for events as it balances function with nature.
